I must say the haunt of this story out of Jackson, Michigan attracted me first. But from there it developed into a fascination with the cold case mystery. There is a whole history behind the deaths of the Crouch house on the night of November 22, 1883. And a somewhat strange history after that stormy night.
The days leading up to the massacre were scrutinized- after the fact. The crime scene itself was a travesty of forensics. Events and deaths after that stormy night are intriguing and strange.
