On September 22nd 1992 Stardust bookkeeper William John Brennan a native of Palmertown, PA walked out of the casino with a bag containing $500k worth in cash and chips never to be heard from again. Fellow employees of the Stardust complained he as hanging out with a shady gambler near the time of his heist and disappearance. No trace has ever been found of Brennan. His cat was missing at his apartment. The main theories were he went on the run and got away with it or he was killed for the money shortly after the heist.
